John is a practicing safety professional with many years of experience in private industry and insurance loss control. He has worked for General Dynamics, Bethesda Naval Hospital, Continental /CNA, USF&G, Invincia Corporation and Pillar Engineers, among others. He is an Officer and Past President with the Richmond Chapter of the American Society of Safety Engineers and an Adjunct Instructor at the VCU School of Business Risk Management Institute. Meola is a Contributing Writer for several trade publications and the author of two safety handbooks. He creates energetic and informative safety presentations for trade & industry groups.
